Creative Relaxation


An Introduction

In this short relaxed course you will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy your creative side and to develop your artistic skills. No previous experience is needed.

This course aims to improving wellbeing through creative activities and would benefit anyone experiencing low to moderate levels of depression and/or anxiety.

Also those struggling with self-esteem, self-confidence, sleep, stress or isolation.

  • Attendance: One 2.5 hour session per week

The course content includes:

  • Discovering the properties of colour and engaging in colourful activities
  • Sculpting with Air Hardening Clay to produce three dimensional objects
  • Working expressively with acrylic paints on canvas
  • Designing your own personalised affirmations
  • Receiving personalised and effective progression advice and guidance

You will be invited to an induction session and offered one to one information, advice and guidance which takes a practical and holistic approach to your learning journey.  

To attend this course you must:                          

  • Be able to follow simple instruction
  • Be affected by anxiety and/or low mood.
  • Be enthusiastic to learn new skills
